Building Survey (Level 3 Survey)
Building Survey
(Level 3 Survey)
The main function of a RICS Survey is to save long term problems and potential financial issues. Buying a property can be stressful enough without discovering too far down the line underlying issues that could cost significant amounts to put right. Knowing a property’s faults prior to a purchase can help you to decide whether a property is right for you – and furthermore could help to negotiate on price.
What is a Building Survey?
A building survey (also called a ‘Level 3’ survey) is the most thorough property survey available. This type of survey is recommended for larger or older (100+ years) properties, or properties that are in poor condition, or have an unusual design. Riddle & Co. believe that a full Building Survey is the best option if you are looking at something very special or unique, in order to gain a thorough understanding of the condition of a property, irrespective of its age and size.
Once you have received your report, you will be contacted by the Surveyor to discuss the contents of the report and or to arrange a face-to-face meeting as part of the service.
